Review of CCleaner, Software That Makes Computers Fast

ByteHub.com.ng – One of the things that makes a computer slow is the large number of junk files and system data that is no longer needed. Even users are not aware that the large number of junk files is making hard disk space run low.

So, this time ByteHub really wants to review a piece of software that can be used to make a computer fast. Yes, it's not very fast, but the point is that it can clean up all kinds of junk files that have settled on the system. So OS performance becomes smoother.

This software is called CCleaner. If anyone already knows and happens to use it, thank goodness. But if anyone has never used this software, hopefully, they can add more references after reading this short review.

What is CCleaner?

CCleaner is software that has the main function of cleaning junk files on the computer system. Apart from that, it also functions to clean unused registries and has several features such as uninstalling programs, managing startup, and others.

CCleaner itself is a trademark of Piriform Ltd. Apart from CCleaner, there are also others such as Defraggler, Recuva, and Speccy.

CCleaner Features?

Just go straight to the features in CCleaner. There are several features that in my opinion can be maximized to maintain our computers.

#Cleaner

Of course, the first is the Cleaner feature. This is the main feature of this software. In this Cleaner feature, users can choose which parts to clean. There are two options, namely Windows and Applications.

In  Windows, there are options related to the Windows system, such as Windows Explorer, System, Internet Explorer, and Advanced.

Meanwhile,  Applications contains a selection of installed applications that may have junk files, such as Mozilla Firefox, Multimedia, and other utilities.

Please check the list if you want to delete the junk files in that section. But remember, don't just check the checklist, pay attention to what part it is, because it could result in your data being lost. I will not explain in detail, please check it yourself later on the software.

#Registry

This feature also functions to clean missing and unused registry data. Users can scan any registries that can be deleted, and then if they are ready they can delete them. Make sure to select backup first before making sure to delete the missing registry.

#Tools

In this feature there are several more features such as Uninstalling Programs, managing Startup, managing plugins installed in the browser, Disk Analyzer, Duplicate Finder, System Restore, and Drive Wipe.

So, those are some of the features of CCleaner.

Actually there are three choices of CCleaner, namely free ( CCleaner Free ), paid ( CCleaner Professional & CCleaner Professional Plus ).

For CCleaner Pro Plus, users can monitor junk files automatically. For example, by setting if a junk file also reaches 1 GB in size, it will automatically be deleted. Users don't need to do a manual scan.

Then the Pro version can also be used for All Users and choose which users to activate it for. The Disk Defragmentation &  File Recovery feature is also included in it. And the last thing is that you can update the CCleaner software automatically if there is a new update.

I myself have been using CCleaner Free for a long time. Not bad enough to help deal with junk files on the system. Once upon a time, when scanning junk files with CCleaner, it reached 3 GB, so it took so long for the junk files not to be deleted.

CCleaner Free is only 6.57 MB in size, very small but functional.

In terms of the User Interface, I think it is quite easy for ordinary users to understand. Besides, there are settings for Indonesians, so it's quite easy.

CCleaner also updates quite regularly. From existing data, the last update was on May 24 2016 with the updated version v5.18.5607. Before this date, there was also another update on April 26 2016 with the updated version v5.17.5590. So it can be said that this software is quite functional, especially as it is supported by regular updates.
